Born in 1959 at Mount Allan, Maureen is a Warlpiri woman who paints traditional Warlpiri Dreamtime stories associated with Women’s Ceremonies,  My Country, Tali (Sand Dunes)  and Water Dreaming amongst others. Her Water Dreamings are associated with the Mikantji site which show the creeks and waterways that the Ancestor Rainmaker created when he unleashed a giant storm. She is a well recognised established artist who has exhibited extensively.
